July 22 & 24 - Lone Star Regulators Present the National Day of the Cowboy - One of the fastest growing cowboy sports in the United States literally roars into the Somervell County Expo Center with guns a blazing. More than 200 of the top cowboy and cowgirl mounted shooters will be competing for cash and prizes.

 

July 25 thru July 31 - AJRA World Finals - The future superstars of rodeo compete for championships and bragging rights at the Somervell county Expo Center. The American Junior Rodeo Association is one of the premier junior rodeo association turning out rodeo legends such as Jim Sharp, Roy Cooper, Tuff Hedeman and many more.

 

August 19 & 20 - Texas Ceramic Weekend Getaway -
